About FxOpenHours
Live forex market hours, session clocks and local trading windows — maintained for traders worldwide.
We help traders answer one simple question: is the forex market open now?
FxOpenHours tracks the four major forex sessions — Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York — and converts them into your local timezone. The site is built for quick answers, country-specific market-hour pages, and DST-aware session planning.
Who Supports This Site?
FxOpenHours is supported by the education and trading-tools team behind ForexTradeLab. ForexTradeLab publishes forex guides, broker education, market tools, country pages and beginner resources for retail traders.
The goal is practical: keep FxOpenHours focused on live forex session data, while ForexTradeLab supports broader education such as broker selection, risk management, trading tools and learning guides.
Session times are based on standard UTC market windows and converted into local timezones.
The live clock uses browser timezone data and JavaScript Intl APIs to handle daylight saving changes.
Forex and CFDs involve substantial risk. Our pages are informational and not financial advice.
How We Calculate Market Hours
We start with the major global forex sessions in UTC, then convert those windows into local time for each page. Country pages also explain the best local overlap window, usually when London and New York are open together.
Forex is decentralized, so broker-specific schedules, holiday liquidity and spread changes can vary. We highlight major holidays and DST effects, but traders should still verify final trading availability inside their broker platform.

Editorial & Affiliate Transparency
